A/BPU Single Lifts British Championships 2026
In this year’s Arnolds Sports Festival UK, British Powerlifting Union brings some of the world’s strongest powerlifters to the NEC.
Through over 20 qualifying meets across the UK, A/BPU lifters have earned their place at the British Bench Press and Deadlift Championships that span through the whole weekend, fighting for medals and a place in the WPC World Championships.
Alongside the Championship is an international level showdown open to only those who meet the criteria: three professional Superflights that gather top ranked Bench Press and Deadlift athletes around the world to fight for the prize money. Do you qualify?

Friday 27th:
ALL ABPU men (apart from equipped bench, you lift Saturday
Saturday 28th:
ALL BPU men and women, AND The Bomb Squad Superflight (all equipped bench including open and international lifters) AND the NoHoldsBarred Deadlift SuperFlight.
Sunday 29th:
ALL ABPU women, AND the RAW Bench Superflight.
Top 3 in the British Championships get an invitation to the WPC and AWPC World Championships 2026 in the UK and the USA.
Entry: For the British Championships, all competitors must qualify and be invited to compete. So there is no public entry link for this.
For the SuperFlights, these are limited to 20 competitors each
